Survey, Design & Supply

The concept

Our Survey, Design & Supply service gives our customers the benefit of a home survey combined with a design package. We recognised the need for a service that went beyond Supply Only and gives our customers a bespoke, design-led bathroom that is tailored individually to their needs. We can assist with technical queries and provide you with all you need to appoint a fitter and realise your bathroom dreams! There is a charge for this survey which is fully redeemable against any product purchase you make from us.

The process

Our experienced plumber and bathroom fitter will visit your home to survey your existing bathroom and advise on what is possible from a construction and plumbing viewpoint. We ask you to visit us in our showroom - virtual meetings can be arranged - so that we can have an initial conversation about your likes and dislikes, design ideas and wants and needs. We go through our supplier brochures, talk through all the options that are available to you and advise on what would be suitable in your space. We then produce a design package for you that takes into consideration your budget, brief and timescale as well as any plumbing and construction constraints.

A full design package

We will supply you with a design package that includes a mood board, floor plan and product list. There is also the option to include a 3D design in this package for an additional cost.

When considering wall coverings for your bathroom, there is an alternative to traditional tiles - shower panels provide a waterproof, durable and versatile bathroom surf ace and are a perfect balance of high-end design and functionality. Coming in a range of styles and colours to suit any bathroom, they require no grout and are easy to clean and maintain.

Easy to install and maintain

Installation is quick and easy and panels can be fitted on top of existing tiles if necessary. The lack of grout means that the risk of mould is eradicated while cleanin g is as simple as wiping down with a cloth.

The right shape for your space

When your bathroom doesn't have space for a separate bath and shower you might want to consider a shower bath - perfect for when you use the shower daily but still want the option of a leisurely soak in the bath. Shower baths are available in various shapes and forms so you're sure to find one to suit your needs. Designed to maximise space in a smaller bathroom, they can be fitted with a matching bath screen which gives you a comfortable showering experience without the need for a shower curtain. Although you can have a simple straight bath, there are a few other shapes worth considering.

P Shape

A P Shape bath has a wider curved end which gives it a more seamless look than an L shape bath. The curved end allows for a more comfortable showering experience than a standard bath width and is more economical in it's water use.

L Shape

An L shape bath works in the same way as P shape, with the wider end providing a more spacious shower experience with out compromising on a comfortable bath.

J Shape

J Shape baths are baths that feature a straight length and width edge s perfect for sitting flush against walls, and a curved front and side. The design of J shaped b aths makes them perfect for a combined bathing and showering experience .

Space Saver

Similar to the baths above, a space saver bath is styled to maximise the space used in a bathroom - it does however sacrifice some bathing space in order to do this. The foot end of the bath is smaller than the seating end, as you need less space for your legs , while the shower can be positioned at either end.

A different approach

At the Little Bathroom and Boiler Company we like to do things differently. That's why we offer a survey and design package as well as a traditional supply and fit service. Our Survey & Design package includes a visit from Jamie, a plumber of 20+ years, to survey and measure up your bathroom as well as a design brief including moodboard, floor plan and 3D imagery. A list of products chosen from our suppliers completes the package and means that your preferred tradespeople have everything they need to make your dream bathroom a reality.

The Process

We begin with a visit to your home, where our qualified and experienced plumber will survey and measure your space and check your heating and water systems. He will consider what you would like to achieve and assess whether it is possible. We then arrange a design consultation in our showroom, where we will discuss your brief, budget and initial product choices. We prepare a design package that includes a mood board, floor plan, product list and 3D visual if required.

Experienced Bathroom Designer/salesperson to work in our Bristol shop.

We are looking for a person who has the skill and passion to inspire, advise and build a relationship with retail customers and trades during the design of their dream bathroom. The candidate will be responsible for designing and selling from a range of quality bathrooms, from displays within the shop and brochures, to guide the customers and provide product information, whilst ensuring outstanding customer service.

This role will involve 3D planning using a design software package (virtual worlds)to generate quotations, ordering of sales products through to ensuring quality after sales communication.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced designer and salesperson. The ability to work effectively ,and have a good knowledge and experience of design software with a good attention to detail.

Previous design and sales experience in the retail environment is essential, together with experience of bathroom related products, from leading manufactures.

Full time position 37-40 hours per week working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday with a day off the following week when a Saturday is worked.
